The purpose of safety and health training is to teach all LB&B personnel the general principles of safety (what, when, where, how, and why), as well as specific procedural requirements that have been established for inherently hazardous operations and regulatory compliance.

Safety and health training is a core component of the complete orientation process for new employees, but it also provides effective reinforcement for existing employees.
