Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NAS JRB) Fort Worth recently had a tour of the C-130 Operational Flight Trainer and the Loadmaster Trainer for the Eastern Hills High School Honors math students. Several of these students already have scholarships to schools such as University of Texas, University of Arkansas, and USC. The students were very inquisitive and asked a lot of questions about the operating systems of the device. The students included the class Valedictorian who will be attending the University of Texas in the fall. This kind of tour gives these young adults a glimpse of what it takes to become a Naval or Marine Aviator. Each student got to try their hand at flying the C-130 simulator and thoroughly enjoyed their time spent at the facility. The staff at NAS JRB are proud to take part in such an event and wish these young students good luck in their future endeavors.
